The museum in Dolní Lomné

The museum is located in the wooden house of the original Lomňany school from 1852. The original of this building was moved to the depository of the Wallachian Museum in Rožnov in 1974. In its place, a replica was built according to the original documentation.

The museum collects the historical heritage of the Lomň inhabitants in the form of chronicles, photo albums, recordings of older citizens and original exhibits.

In the replica of the original school there is a permanent exhibition about the Mionší forest and, in cooperation with the Wallachian Museum in Rožnov, also an original classroom. It is possible to buy souvenirs, souvenirs and taste local specialties.

Every year, the museum hosts chariot races, an autumn fair, Easter and Christmas exhibitions, displays of nativity scenes and period photographs.
