Museum of Třinec Ironworks and the City of Třinec

The Museum of Třinec Ironworks and the City of Třinec is a place where beauty and history are combined.

The museum’s permanent exhibitions introduce visitors to the rich history of Těšín Silesia and the founding of the Trinec ironworks. The exhibition halls are dominated by unique historical and original artefacts from metallurgical production. Individual text panels with a rich pictorial supplement accompany the visitor in three exhibition rooms. They present the historical development of Třinec and the key moments that led to the establishment of the ironworks. The interior of the museum also includes the Gallery On the Steps and short-term exhibitions. The outdoor Werk Gallery is located in the museum’s garden.
