Beskid Museum in Wisla
Beskidzkie Museum A. Podżorskiego in Wisla is located in the city centre in a former inn from 1794. It is a two-storey building with stone and brick walls and a gabled shingle roof, located underground.
The permanent exhibition presents exhibits related to the life and activities of the mountaineers of the Silesian Beskydy Mountains. It covers the basic branches of the material culture of the inhabitants of this region, such as herding, weaving, woodworking and agricultural tools. Visitors can see the peculiarities of men’s and women’s costumes and the most beautiful examples of folk art.
