About the project

The aim of the project is to use the common potential of cultural heritage to increase the tourist attractiveness and visitor numbers in Silesia. A new cross-border product has been created – a thematic route “A common history of wood, iron and people”, an exhibition and a guidebook. At the same time, the cultural heritage – wooden houses in Třinec and Wisla, which have been transformed into open-air museums – will be preserved. The investment will significantly increase the interest in the product and therefore the number of visitors to the border area.
